Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a big cat sanctuary with over 100 big cats? To gain a greater insight into the daily work of the animal caretaker team and for a look behind the scene.
Itinerary
Morning includes watching the feeding, a detailed talk on pride bridge about cats and their backstories and personal traits. A tour of the LIONSROCK Clinic and close up walk through the viewing tunnel followed by a visit to tiger valley. Followed by a Light lunch.
Visit our on-site Restaurant, pool facility, and kiddies playground.

We had an amazing experience.
Due to Covid, we did not sleep at the lodge, but we went on a guided tour through the enclosures and had lunch at the restaurant.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, all safety precautions were followed, the tour was lovely and informative and the food was great.
I would highly recommend this place.
One thing to be aware of is that it is a 13km dirt road before you get to the gate of the lodge, so make allowance for the slow trek of a dirt road.
A small lodge with superior comfort close to Bethlehem, Free State. On my way from Jo-Burg to Durban I stayed for one night. After passing the gate you drive through the small areal with some species of game, like a safari. Nice small chalets. In the evening, after a short walk around the lodge and in the morning you can hear the noises of the lions in the nearby Four Paws Big Cats Sanctuary. Lunch and breakfast, net baie lekka.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 48 hours before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 48 hours days before arrival.
